A friend of mine has broken his mech hanger and asked me if I could sort it for him. I haven't had a look at it yet but I know the bike is a million years old and was probably purchased for £30 off ebay. No idea what the bike make is....if any!!!

How do I source a mech hanger? is there a universal hanger from Halfrauds?

Is the best thing to do, take it off and go to LBS to try and match it up to something?

Thanks for the steer in the right direction. On the same theme after a bit of searching, there's mountainbikecomponents based in the UK that seem to do the same thing.

Guess I'll have to get the hanger off and get matching.
