im not sure yet if i am going to go ahead with it, but id like to remove the reflectors and the shitty plastic thingy behind the rear gearset.

the problem is, its illigel to ride here in austria without them on the road or about at night.

thats the problem but i think, but i would like to remove them in the future so how do you remove them?

looks like a screw or type thing on the reflector and tried undoing but nothing happens and as for the rear plastic thing i have no clue how to remove...

help please

nick

Reflector -
A big, pretty sharp flat head screwdriver - Stick in in, push until it gets a purchase, then twist off. It's a skill you learn after a while! Or, needle nose pliers.

DorkDisc on the rear, cable snips work pretty well. Snip off the pegs that hold it on, then just gradually snip off the rest.

the 'chain guard' on the cassette is often brittle if hit hard enough. DAMHIKIJKOK

Or leave them on = the disc behind the wheel could save your spokes and the reflectors your life

Stops the chain going into the spokes if the gears are badly adjusted or go out of adjustment or you knock the rear mech out of line on something hard.

It stops the chain cutting into your spokes if the chain comes off the largest sprocket.
