Not recommended for steel tubes stuck in aluminium frames.

The Big F.O. drill was actually 2.7mm smaller than the OD of the post. They thinned it out and collapsed it. The drill didn't touch the bore of the tube*.

it must have been a poorly maintained bike to have got to that stage though!

Just put a seat clamp and post back on. The Dirk Diggler action hasn't turned it into a Clown's Pocket.

Not my frame BTW.

Compressed air job.

They were very, very gentle. Lots of lube. 😯
