I've seen a Solaris (the Green one) with a set of RS Revs and hope headset for sale which I'm tempted to go for. I think the price his asking is too much but without even mentioning money yet his said his happy to listen to offers so would like to be sensible about my offer but just wanted to get an idea first. I'm sure the detectives out there will know which one I'm looking at!

old versions were down to £349 new, so i'd say no more than that for frame, fork and headset depending on condition

I'd say £400 for the lot.

So I couldn't have got to a further end of the scale then!

Hope you can get a Solaris, I'm certainly a fan of mine.

That sucks Lummox. Sorry to hear that. I don't think it's your one, the guy is a member on here too and is quite open about locations of where it is.

Thank you for the link, apart from frame and headset make this doesn't look to be the bike I lost, any implication I made this was stolen is unintended as things can move on so quickly.

Just miss that bike big time.

I feel your pain. I still miss my Dawes One Track that I built up with Pace forks, Middleburn C/set and XT groupset from 1996!

I hope so Rocket! I want him to see the funny (albeit) serious side of my offer!
