Been using flat pedals for a few rides lately, after years and years with SPD's and quite enjoying it. I have been using some wellgo V8 copies and pair of skate trainers I picked up cheap.

Would like to step it up a notch, so I have just bought some Superstar Nanos and was thinking about getting a pair of AM41's.

But was wondering, If the AM45's with cleats were good with flat pedals, may as well get them instead, as they would give me options of using them with the old SPD's

At the risk of answering my own question, If the 45's were good with flats why would they make the 41's

anyhow..whats your experience with them ?

Not used the 45s but have got 41s. The sole is completely different and I don't think the 45s would be much cop. If you're enjoying flats just get the 41s. They're ace with Nanos

Use mine with both. Took a while to get used to stiff sole with flats but no problems now. Only real problem wih them is the cleat pocket gettin jammed up with mud when having to push.

Have 41's with Nano's. Impressed so far - almost too `sticky'.

Cheers for the replies. Leaning towards the 41's now.

Wondering why the 41's are more expensive than the 45's ?
