Mate has one, it glows a little bit once all the lights are out but certainly not what i'd call a safety feature.

More of a gimmick i'd say. Glows far less than the little toys we all had as kids that were properly bright (or watch faces as well).

I reckon Orange's Neon Yellow colour would be good for commuting, seems to have a "glow" to it, especially at dusk

I have one as stated by MrTall, can make out the frame with the lights off in the garage but other than that it's just ****ing bright in the daylight

F*** knows, supposedly needs sunlight to activate it but that's been a rare commodity since I've had mine.

Yeah it charges in the sun so in the winter there is precious little charge going into the paint, so it's barely noticable commuting in the dark. Summer, taking it from the outdoors into the garage it glows, like really glows - always makes me chuckle.

Aside from that it is just a bright green colour so hard not to notice and the Pomp is an awesome commuter, it's tough, fast and great to ride.

Owned one since January and loving it ๐Ÿ™‚ ps - the gimmick paint was the same price as the regular paint so it's just a fun option in my opinion!
