And how do they compare with rocket Rons in size and how they perform
Thanks
Bump for the big wheelers that have been out all day ๐
New 2.35 on left, old 2.4 on right.
New one holds less mud, for sure, & rolls better. My ideal tyre. Mine will be on year round now.

taki - cant quite tell from the pic, but is there any difference in the knob to knob carcass width?
I've got one of those but put a 2.25 NN on the front instead. Was that daft? Ralph any good when its not dry?
It's a rigid bike so I'm all in favour of a bit of cushion.
Is it my eyes or is the new one bigger than the old one ?
Great performance on the back for me (singlespeed and geared) - I also will be keeping mine on all year and putting a front on for the summer ๐ฏ
New new ones have slightly tastier graphics IMHO and a big 29" logo on the side (in case you forget)
As best as I can measure in my freezing garage...
W.K.W:
(Widest knob width)
2.4 = 60mm
2.35 = 58mm
Circumference:
(Peice of string around tyre & rim at aforementioned W.K.W)
2.4 = 220mm
2.35 = 215mm
Side knobs are noticbly smaller on the 2.35.
If your after some squish for a fully rigid bike (like me) they are spot on at about 26psi.
Rims are TN719's.
cheers.
I get 61mm for the 2.4" on my 35mm rims.
so just a shade smaller then.
Interesting subtle differences in tread patterns.
Cheers fella
