Hello
friend of mine got this singlespeed Trek SOHO, it is alu frame
with vertical dropouts, and no gear hanger threads !
Does anybody make a chain tensioner, or is there some solution,
so the chain does not get slack ?
Cheers

Good pic of one but not sure where you could buy one from although someone will know
go to charlie the bikemonger and see what he has that might fit.
I think you probably want some chain tugs - towards bottom of page, but ask him if you're not sure.
A quick google search reveals:
"Trek Soho's eccentric bottom bracket provides chain tension adjustment on a bike with vertical dropouts. "

Have you checked to see whether there is an EBB - it seems a very strange design for a major manufacturer to not supply a method of tensioning the chain??!!
If it's the same as the pic above it has no EBB but does have sliding drop outs, therefore you need a chain tug if you want to run a QR.
Eccentric rear hub, like the White Industries ENO, or eccentric external BB cups.
Oh, stupid me, its got HORIZONTAL dropouts !
-and no eccentric BB, on frame either
And it has some bigger bolts on both sides, of wheel for securing the wheel.
My friend, girl..., would probaly be most happy, with some kind of leave it alone, dont mess with, getting dirty fingers....
On the sheldon page i saw a dingy that instead, of going on the not existing geardropout, but whent on the chain stay, with a pulley,
hmmmmmmmm, any one know where to get such a dingy ?, or something else ?
Other wise the chain tugs, was not a bad idea
