help!
May I refer the honourable person to the '[i]forum help[/i] button up there at top right ^
It's set out in the Forum Help button top right. Essentially you can't post an image on your hard drive, you need to have it held on t'internet by Photobucket, Flickr or someone. Once it's hosted there, it's just include a link surrounded by [ img ] zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz [ /img ] but without the spaces.
pic has to exist on the www already
after that you can just find the image's address (not just the page it's on, the actual image address - right click on it) and paste it in here using the "img" tag above the reply text box
if it's flickr etc, they like you to do proper linkage and should offer tips on how to somewhere on their site (note, if you search this forum for flickr there was a thrread the other day about the new code for doing it if you are using flickr)
easiest way is
go to [url= http://tinypic.com/ ]tinypic[/url]
use the browse button to choose and then upload your pic from your pc
copy the link for forums (one of 4 choices offered to you after upload)
paste it in the reply box here!
hth
try searching the forum for How do I post picture

There was some help a while back, unfortunately I can't find the thread cos it wasn't specifically a Flickr one.
Now, from memory, there were two ways of doing it ... can anyone tell me, in simple terms, what they were?
Thank you so much!

1) click the forum help button on the top right
2) do a search for one of the multitude of previous threads about posting pictures
That monkey would get a .44 Magnum bullet straight through it's head, if it made such a rude gesture towards me. Or condemned to a lifetime in captivity. That'd teach it not to be such a rude ****.
Elfinsafety ignores 999 request from cinnamon_girl! Is this the end of the stw world as we know it? ๐

Flickr has recently made it much easier. There's a new option "Share This". Select that and choose "Grab the HTML/BBCode". Check the BB Code button and copy the text it gives
