So I have ridden the hope pro II quite happily for the last few years and it has been very good in the QR format. I really wanted to make the back end a little stiffer to match the maxle on front end will converting the Hope Pro II to a bolt through do the job and is there a kit for it available from Hope?
Any thoughts would be welcome.
What bike?
Sorry should have mentioned.
It's on a felt redemption 3, dhx air 5, 6+ inches travel front and rear. I'm 100+kg with little finess on the bike.
Made a big difference to my old model 575, mainly when mashing the pedals. I don't go round corners fast enough to notice it there!
Hope do a bolt up and bolt through make sure you pick the right one.
I think Superpoo components do an axle for the bolt through, I just used the bolt-up.
RicB
sadly I have to ask this question...
whats the difference between the two you've just mentioned

Bolt up is held in place by 2 hex bolts so you need a 6mm Allen key to take the wheel out. The kit comes with 2 bolts.
bolt through uses a big qr (10mm dia I think) so removing the wheel is quicker. Don't think the Hope kit comes with an axle
bolt up is slightly lighter iirc
you will want 1 of these
