serviced my hub at the weekend all fine apart from fitting the free wheel i don't have the special tool for knocking it back on is there any other way of doing it?? can i hit it with a mallet??? cheers eddy

Looks like you should just be able to push it on. But you might want to wait for someone more knowledgeable then me.
You don't need the tool and shouldn't even need a mallet.
Just get the seal centred, push quite hard and make sure it's lined up then ease the edge in with your finger tip or something flat and blunt, like a wide flat bladed screwdriver on its side (not end on) if needed.
the freehub body? hold the pawls in, push it back into place until you hear a definite 'click'. THen check it spins freely.
