Firstly I'm not new to the use of Hope alloy Freehubs and cassettes with carriers etc.
That said I am newish to 10 speed cassettes.
I've just remove a 10 speed XT cassette from a Hope hubbed wheel.
There we're tell tale signs of cassette dig in when it all didn't slide off freely. There are a couple of gouges around the third sprocket placement.
So just bad luck?
Are the SRAM cassettes any better in 10 speed guise?
I ask as I've used PG990 cassettes for years with Hope Freehubs with no issues.
