I'm about to install a set of 120mm Reba's on my 2005 5spot, since they're now my only safe to ride forks.

This is new to me, and something of a departure from my usual direction as far as travel goes, which has been, historically, moving towards the 150mm mark.

Does anyone have any experience of running a 5spot with a fork with this 'little' travel?

I do realise I'll very soon be able to find out for myself what its like, but it'd be night to hear what others have found. I'm surprisingly apprehensive about it, for no good reason!

used to run 125 fox on my h/l spot and it felt good with 5inch rockers but with 5.3inch 5.5inch and push rockers it suffered pedal strikes a lot, the bb is quite low on h/l spots to run shorter forks with longer rockers but ok with 5inch rockers
turner recomended fox 125 forks for the original spot with 5 inch rockers so worth a try its only 5mm and the axle to crown on old 125fox's is quite low so probably the same as 120 rebas and 20mm is nice on a spot cos they are quite stiff frames
go for it i reckon
EDIT if your rebas are 20mm

yeah, they are. My imprecisely measured a-c on the Rebas is 510mm which AFAIR is not far off the original Fox 125 a-c.

Gotta be worth a go - I've got 5.1 rocker plates.
