As a not so rufty tufty Northerner I happened to find myself a long way from home working in Dorking yesterday. I've been that way before and an occasional mountain biking friend has mentioned Leith Hill so I figured I should take my bike. Anyway I did some homework on the interweb and went down to Nirvana to get some route ideas. Turns on that Tuesday night is ride night so I went out with Simon (the owner) and Chris (regular). How lucky was I getting the 10 pound tour of the area from THE authority of the area (and ex-Northerner). I had a great couple of swoopy hours up there, totally different to riding round the Peak and Yorkshire but loads of fun.

So it's not soooo bad Down South.
