Has anyone managed to purchase/modify a grease gun to fit these: sorry if photo doesn’t appear. Really want something that doesn’t require disconnecting rear triangle.

deflate the shock and its quite easy. i use a Hilka gun on my Hightower
I just flip the bike upside down, undo the top shock mount and move the shock out the way and the lower pivot opens up allowing you to get the grease gun on easily.
I take it off, otherwise the grease oozes out onto the frame and then picks up even more crud.
You don't have to remove the rear triangle - just undo the two lower link bolts, lift the triangle and take the link out.
macdubh...I’m assuming it’s: wheel out; deflate shock; grease pivot (at a bit of an angle); then reassemble?
I just remove 1 shock bolt, less effort than deflating the shock.

Would be a great password!
No need for wheel out or removing bolts, just deflate shock and you'll get a standard grease gun in there.
@pipiom yeah, though its easy enough to remove the whole unit for a clean down now and again.
Anyone want a genuine Santa Cruz grease gun? I was kindly give it for free form Ben Pinnick on here, I use a big gun now, as I use the 400ml cartridges, free if anyone wants it, cover the postage.
Yes please Nobeer! Just picked up a HIghtower so would be most useful
Cool, PM me yer details mate, not saying it'll be quick as similarly to most folks, I have shit loads to do before xmas, but I'll get it posted at some point over the period.
I got a Hilka gun and Lucas Red and Tacky from eBay. Deflate shock. Clean away oozing with a rag. 10 mins once a year. Maybe twice.
