Bought Abigale another frame with a view of using her old bike as the doner for the parts

Old bike has double and bash XT 10 speed setup on front with a front mech and the rest is XT 10 speed. It hasnt been fitted to the bike that long and was an upgrade from 9 speed.

Just found out that the new frame dosnt have the facility for a front mech fitting.

Can the front be run on a single ring and if so what do I need, will the gearing be ok with out the small front ring.

Do I need to change everything and if so what to.

Any help and suggestions will be appreciated

What is the frame? Are you sure it can't have a front mech?

IMO 1x10 is the way forward however if you wanted a front mech I'm sure a e-type would work. Not sure about press fit though
