I all I have a set of marzocchi bomber z1drop off 1 and am having a problem thay were running ace and felt super smooth on Saturday untill thay lost the pre load air. Iv put some air back it about 8psi but now the fork seems a bit bouncy like the rebound is out. If the air didnt come out the valve could it have gone internally 🙁 cant seem to find any info on how to strip them and what oil and amount to put back in anyone have any info
Thanks ben

What model year ?

Ones with a bolt on arch or the later one piece lowers ?

Search for "marzocchi z1 drop off service" loads comes up.

Basic internals, a lot of basic parts still available. The loss of air could be a dicky valve or seal death/perished.

The newer ones where/are a budget OEM fork so if you can self service and find a new seal kit, some of the older ones where nicer still worth doing.
If you need to send them away for a pro-service to have the seals done might not be worth it depending on age and exact model.

Even if broken, they still work on burglers 🙂

The plot thickens 🙂

lack of damping might mean lack of oil as well, sounds like an oil swap out first, see if that fixes it/improves it.
