i used my mums laptop today and i couldnt see the buttons at the top of the page.
i asked my mate who built it and he cant see why that happened.
is it just my mums laptop settings?

they look fine to me too, on Mac with Safari.
You might want to have a look at what it looks like on other web browsers using a website called browsershots. Totally agree. Said the same a month ago and got slated by Tonys "mates". Every few weeks, up he pops with a new "problem" or "question" about the website.
I wont hold my breathe until people start posting amazingly good reviews of his service under newly created names. Now where have we seen that before on here?

The problem has been identified in several browsers (IE, FF & Safari), and the cause identified. It's just needing a little style tweakage, which I'm sure the designer will get done quickly.
