Can't figure this one out!
I have a new shimano m780 sg 10 speed rear mech and a shimano HG-X XT 10 speed chain.
The chain will not fit through the space between the gap at the top of the bottom Jockey wheel.
I cannot figure this out!

have you taken the mech cage apart? are there any spacers missing?

I can see that the teeth on the lower jockey are shaped, suggesting that there is a specific direction. I have installed the chain as per the sticker on the bag which the chain came in. It just seems too tall, not wide so I don't think it's spacers. I'm baffled 😕
