I have a new bike with sram rival levers and bb7 callipers. No instructions. The levers pull almost to the bar before worthwhile pad contact. This fouls the gear shift lever on the drop.
Is it a case of pulling the cable through to reduce pull needed? Ta.

On phone so can't type much but setup instructions are online and there's good YouTube videos too. Pad adjustment done with the knobs not cable pull!

are they definitely BB7 [b]road[/b] brakes ?
