I'm after a little help please

I have noticed that the tubes are wearing on my forks and need to strip and replace the oil seals etc.

I have removed the rebound and other bots from the lower bottoms but the legs still clunk when i try to remove them, also no oil has come out so I'm a bit confused to say the least

Any guidance would be well received

Put the bolts back in, just a few turns, but leave them sticking out a little. Now tap them gently on the bottom (ideally put an allen key or similiar in, ie, tap a tool not the bolts). This should push the rods out of the base of the fork.

Pretty sure this is in the service guide btw! Good info on the Rockshox page.

If the anodizing is wearing off the stanchions they'll need more than oil seals!

the rods are pushed inside , i can see in both holes into the forks now but still a clunk when trying to remove the lowers ๐Ÿ™ should they release now ? i.e. sure the lowers should drop off now as there's nothing holding them now surely ?

The gold colour appears to have lost some of it's colour but yes i assume that I'll probably need bushes too in the legs

There should be only 10-15ml in there anyway although, if none comes out, it could go someway into explaining why you have stanction wear

Yes. If you've 'broken' the seal between the rods and lowers (By doing what NW said), they should come off.
