iv got a set of Marzocchi 4x rc3 forks but the steerer tube is to short. because im a Muppet i didn't check as to the length i needed (dumb ass), is it possible to get a new one fitted? and if so how much? iv heard that Windward can do it has anyone had it done? or no anyone that has. any help will be greatly appreciated

How short is too short?
It might not be terminal, for depending on your frame you could source a shallower headset and/or stem.
If all else fails, you should contact Windwave but replacement steerers are integrated with the crown and stanchions and aren't cheap.

Unlike most modern forks it is possible to replace the steerer tubes on some of the Marzocchi forks. You would need to call Windwave on 023 9252 1912.
They are the UK importers for Marzocchi and are really helpfull guys and can advise if yours is one the models that they can fit a new steerer to. I think its about £30
