[Closed] Help me out here people - Hardtails with tapered headtube?

Following on from my recent thread I'll be picking up a new hard tail within the next couple of weeks.

My forks however are tapered and is like to keep them this way.

I'm after a list of hard tails with a tapered or 44mm head tube if you don't mind helping me out.

So far I have:-

BFE but I really don't like the colour options
Soul but I'm looking at 140mm really
Dialled Alpine - not released yet
Can't run a C456 due to being a midget
Blue Pig

Can't seem to find any others so are there any I should look at?

Thanks

Ian

My next hardtail is going to be one of these, not cheap but damn sexy

Tapered head tube, dropper post compatible, nice angles, replaceable drop outs, what's not to like!?

Saracen Zen, from recent years.

Fantastic light, comfy 6061 alu frame with great geometry.

And the size up shorter than normal (ie. I ride a large, but I'm normally a medium), so could be a good option for the vertically (and horizontally) challenged.

I'd love a Production Privee but it's out of budget.

I'll go check out the Saracen and KTN .

I'd have a HX1 but can't get hold of one anywhere or Si at progressive.

Seen a good deal on a Cove Stiffee FR but I'm pretty sure it's not tapered?

Cheers

Think the slackline 631 is a 1 1/8 headset.

It's 44mm so takes anything.

44mm According to Stanton... been looking at that frame myself.

EDIT - But then it does indeed say 1 1/8 too...

None in stock or I'd have definitely given it thought.

I really want to keep a tapered head tube all though I know it limits my choice.

I'm pretty sure the slackline is 44mm, as it was specifically mentioned on their recent Facebook posts as a new feature.

The picture shows a 44 HT so I guess it is. Awesome.

Might be perfect. Is it worth spending the money to get the 853 version?

The new Slackline 631 definitely has a 44mm HT for a tapered steerer. The 853 has a 1 1/8th HT. Pics of my 631 for proof and temptation!;

Nope, not ridden it. That's the state I left it in on Friday when I got dragged away to a wedding for the weekend. Bad timing!

You mentioned Blue Pig ..the Piglet/Marley are 44mm too 140mm forks would suit well.
