Sold my FS and I've got a lot of great parts to build a dream bike, but it seems every bike I look at has things I don't like about it.

I'm a hardtial fan, actually prefer the fun of 27.5 but I've got some carbon 29er wheels, 150mm pikes which I'm happy to sell for forks that suit goldilocks. Full AXS, hope cranks and BB, carbon bars.

My choices and problems...

Yeti Arc, always wanted a yeti, I love a light frame. Hate press fit BB and it negates my hope cranks

Banshee enigma, everything about it sounds like me to ride, fun, poppy, easy to jump and throw about. Means I'd have to sell all.my 29er stuff and it's quite a heavy frame.

Pipedream moxie, love smaller brands, look amazing, adjustable in case I want to go to 27.5+ so I can keep.the frame. Bit of a sled, which I'm not a massive fan of, and again, heavy.

Pace RC627 small brand, same issues as enigma

Sonder transmitter carbon. Light, playful, cheap, could work with 27.5 forks. Rare as hens teeth and I only like them in black.

Anything I'm missing????

Oh I should have said, around 130mm of travel is what I'm after as itbwill be ridden near me where its flat as well as the lakes, peaks etc.

Bird Forge is 29er / 853 main pipes / would be fine with a 150mm fork.

If you have the budget then a Curtis AM7 and AM9 have dream status for me in terms of hardtails.

The Pace 29er hardtail always looks nice - but it’s 100% long low and slack I think.

The Moxie in metallic pink is truly lovely I think though - and not too badly priced.

Cotic - whatever the 29er hardtail is?

Edit - just seen your last minute post for 130mm forks. Still a Curtis but advise them of the fork length you want to use and get them to adjust the geometry accordingly. Still a Moxie.

Sonder Signal / Signal Ti rather than the Transmitter?

That Curtis is gorgeous, but £1500 for frame only! Blimey!

Some stuff I can get on C2W like the ARC which drops that price quite nicely.

I do love the pink moxie. The length of the thing puts me off a little, although I do like steel bikes. I've got a soul that's about 7 years old that's my XC 100mm bike for round here. Absolutely love that thing.

Can't you get a works thread fit BB for the yeti and keep the hopes?
Sorted!

Oooh. Now then. Just had a quick read. We'll priced, geo looks good and it fits my parts. Lovely looking thing too. It's from Yorkshire, which isn't great, I'm married to one.

Off to read some reviews!....

https://wheelsmfg.com/bottom-brackets.html

They've got a configuration thing I think

Bought one to convert a road frame from PF30 to a shimano 24 crankset. Lovely bit of kit

I don’t think you are going to find anything threaded that fits a 30mm crank into a BB92 shell but if you do know of one my Kona and I would be interested to know about it?

Transmitter Carbon, I tried in 29er form. Rear was the issue, not width as plenty of room. It was super tight to the seat tube. That was a 2.2 tyre IIRC nothing big. I’d still not have wanted to ride in mud as would rubbed seattube like crazy.
Mullet would be doable though. They originally shipped with 130mm 29er forks running 27.5 wheels. In 27.5 fork setup 150mm was spot on and similar A2C.

Carbon was insanely light too, 3lb something for a large!

I'd love to get hold of a transmitter carbon. I'd go 27.5+ if I found one. I love a light bike. I'm not going to win any races so I want to have fun when I ride.

I can’t fault my Moxie, it’s amazing. I might not be light as a bare frame but I don’t think you’ll notice that in a negative way when riding it. I ride plenty of flatter trails and mine is full 29” with a 160mm fork - it’s good for 140-170mm up front (and 27.5, mullet or 29).

The Enigma can be built as a mullet so will fit everything but your rear wheel. The Paradox is the same but full 29”.

I really love mine, but I'd honestly say it's more on the "sled" side of things. It is definitely "fun, poppy, easy to jump and throw about", but I think there are other bikes which would fit the OP's criteria better. A Gen3 Stanton Sherpa for example

Rubber Buccaneer, wheelsmgf might not do the pf86 to 30mm cranks, but what about this Token Ninja?

Kona honzo is a 'fun' 29er

Big honzo would allow for 27.5+ wheels

Have you had a look at how the geometry compares between them? Look them up in geometrygeeks - they’re all pretty different in shape.

Chameleon is definitely an option but they're pricey and are even expensive 2nd hand.

RSD I couldn't get on C2W I don't think although if I could find one 2nd hand I'd be really interested.

18 Bikes no 9? Think there’s a batch due. Give them a call and talk through what you want.

but what about this Token Ninja?

Appears to be for a 46mm bb shell not the 41mm of a PF92

Canfield Yelli Screamy?

Ticks the right boxes and given the Presidents' Day sales they have on at the mo a frame could be delivered including tax/import duty for around about the £600-650 mark. Might struggle getting a non-lairy colour though.

Ragley big Al? I'm running mine with 150mm lyriks and mezcal/barzo tyres and it's lightish and flies along with the xc tyres.

Mrs has got an mmbop which is amazing to ride, it's kind of that that's making me go towards 27 5. Run barros on my xc soul, brilliant tyres in 2.6
