[Closed] Help me find a NEW pair of RC31's

Anyones LBS have a pair hanging in stock still?

I need a super long steerer so an uncut new pair looks to be my only option.

Let me know please as it's key to a Pace RC200 bike build so it's got to be a Pace fork and I want it to be rigid as well.

Cheeers

Tim

18 Bikes had some- no idea when they were last there or if they still have them though.

Retrobike has a steerer tube swap-shop thread set up. Might be worth a punt.

If its an RC200 it'll have to be a 420mm axle to crown set, not the 440mm axle to crown too ... won't it?

BTW, I'll be back down in your neck of the woods in late September so make sure you've got plenty of that good old Harveys behind the bar 😉

Really? Does it matter that much? It's only going to be a glorrified commuter :O)

Will try 18bikes.

Cheers

Hi Slugwash - Harveys always flows! Pop in and I'll pour you a pint or three :O) Fancy arranging a night ride when your down? I need an excuse to get my arse out on the SDW again.

No go at 18bikes. Anymore ideas?

Steerer needs to be 230mm ideally. Mine at 220mm are only halfway in the stem and I'm using a really low headset and stem (CC S8 HS and Bonty stem))

rc31 steerers aren't removable. The rc30 was IIRC but they are too old for this frame.

Got some unused RC31 ti forks - can measure the steerer if you're interested?
