So, before heading out this morning i thought i'd top up my tubeless sealant, found a leak from a spoke when pumping back up & tracked it down to a split rim:

My current, split, wheelset is Pro2Evo with WTB KOM i23 rims (420g rim). They've been on my hardtail since 2015, get abused a bit, done everything from SDW in a day, BPW (blues & reds), mainly used for 3-6hr local rides with a fair chunk of climbing (2500'-6000'), i'm probably at my limit at a 3' drop to flat at speed, not so much of a "jumper".
I use 650b tyres ranging from 2.25" - 2.3".
Currently looking at DT EX471 or EX511 or Stans Arch3 or Flow3.
What would STW do? recomendations & advice please.
EX471 rear, XM481 front
I use ex471 to do the same sort of stuff as you.. no complaints as yet.
The KOMs generally are pretty flimsy rims, the fact you've run them for several years suggests you're pretty light on rims.
On my trail bike I have an Arch Mk3 on the rear. It replaced an American Classic Wide Lightning that I broke. The Arch has been solid for me for the year I've had it.
I'd go Arch - seems there's a 75g difference per rim between those and the 471s, which I'd say would be worth saving if you're doing a bit of climbing.
I'd avoid the Arch Mk 3. Too many reports of splits around the nipples.
If you've been happy with the KOMs for 3 years I'd suggest some 25mm wide KOMs and just lace them up using the same spokes.
I've just fitted a MK3 flow to my 29er. A very nice looking rim but is a lot wider than my old ZTR version. So far no issues with it as per my previous Flows
Hmmm - DT's are around £75-90, Stans £60-65 per rim.
I'd heard on here about the Arch cracking, i believe it was down to needing accurate tensioning with a meter during the build. Are Flows having the same issues?
WTB KOM i23 & i25 have a different ERD, and i think new rims may deserve new spokes. But its an option to just pick up another i23 KOM and swap it over, but i'd kinda like to try something a but wider.
Been running a set of Arch Mk3s for 6 months or so. Not been ridden in serious anger (mainly trail centres and fairly placid singletrack) and not that often. No signs of issues (I weigh stone). They're in pretty much mint condition and are currently advertised on the classifieds as I'm switching to 29er. Grab a bargain! Email me at benwaterhouse1 (AT) gmail.com if you'd like some pics

Ah, bollocks. Just looking for a cheap/easy solution.
Any Halo Vapour 35 fans?
No issues with Flows here, two years or more hassle free. Tell a lie - I needed a spoke or two tightened after a week, not touched since.
Flows if you want to try WT tyres or if your happy with your current internal width how about hope tech enduros?
