I'm not great for maintenance, as in, I don't do it enough! I've got back into riding recently and want to replace my 6 year old pivot bearings!
Bike is a 2012 Orange Gyro, I think I need this?ย https://www.orangebikes.co.uk/shop/components/pivot_bearing_kits/pivot-bearing-kit-28mm
Are there better bearings to be bought from elsewhere?
What do I need in the way of tools to extract and fit the new bearings?
Thanks
Enduro bearings are what most people use.
Orange themselves sell one of these

Dug into it a bit more and my bike has the clamp in bearings and not the press in. Have ordered the bearing kit from Orange so fingers crossed I can get it done ok!
The clamp is bearings are a doddle to change, they only weird bit is having to realign the rear end. There are YouTube videos that show you exactly how to do it, think they might be based on the Five (to help you find them) but it'll be exactly the same
