A friends lad has a Carerra Hellcat, bought in May this year.
It needs a new bottom bracket and has been in Halfords for two weeks now, and they have advised it will be March before they can get a new one.
I’ve had a look and cannot find one, so thought I’d ask the collective it’s a square taper 73mm 127mm in the hope someone can suggest somewhere with something in stock, ideally at the cheaper end of the spectrum.
Do you know if it’s screw or push fit?

I think that’s the badger! Don’t hang about as there are lots of service items unavailable until next year. Don’t forget you’ll need a crank removal tool and also one for the actual bottom bracket ... or give the unit to Halfords to fit?
