My long delayed build is almost finished.
I just need to fit the gear cables and adjust the gears
Also change the spring in my forks
Fit stans in tyres and adjust hope brakes - one piston still moving more than the other!!!
Oh and I can't get cassette to tighten (ok for test ride??)

Any tips/ short cuts on the above - can I make it to bed by midnight?

My tip is:

DO NOT TAKE ANY SHORTCUTS!

This way lies ruin. Go to bed now and do it all properly tomorrow.

Check the set up vids on the hope site - makes setting the brakes up easier.

As the other said - stop now if you are unsure. Get the cassette tightened before you ride it.

Oh dear

Oh dear oh dear

Oh dear oh dear oh dear.

Yes go for it. In a time unconstrained situation you can do a Stan's conversion in about 20 minutes. Although to balance that, if you allow half an hour for it because you should go to bed but you just want to do that first.......

let's just say, you'll be posting on here about quarter to two asking for tips on how to get the tyres to inflate.

does the freehub require a spacer behind the cassette?
do the tyres before the brakes.

"does the freehub require a spacer behind the cassette?"
Or is a SRAM one with a carrier where you've forgotten to put the spacer in between some of the middle sprockets?
