I've just returned to mountain biking after a couple of years and apart from my Porelle drys literally falling to bits I've decided that my old Giro E2 makes me look like a mushroom head 🙂

Any recommendations for a decent sub £100 lid that won't make me look like a toadstool ? Riding is mainly XC.

Cheers
Kevin

[Tannoy] TJ TO THE THREAD [/tannoy]

seroiuosly theya re all tested to the same standard and only vents and weight [or hype/branding] contribute to price differences.
Wear one that is comfy and is about the price you are willing to pay. I buy £30 -40 ones personally.

I've got a big fat head so I have to wear big spoony helmets. No-one really looks cool with an xc helmet on so just pick one that's comfy.

Go to a big shop and try a load on. Some will probably be a lot more comfy than others for your head.
