Just introducing myself to the forum! Have been using it a lot for opinions and have found it very useful, so hopefully i shall be able to contribute also.
Here's my latest bike that the forum inadvertently helped me purchase 😀

Hey Alex,
Welcome to a world of passive aggression and tyre discussions. But you knew that already 😀

At least he lined up the valve and tyre logos. Not a total loser then.

Welcome. This is the place for 'what tyre for' questions, mild rage and hilariously unhelpful responses. See:

http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/car-mechanics-help-please-quackduck-noise-on-start-up-no-joke

and

Solid gold content.

hello Alex and a warm welcome to the magical world of trying to interpret whether someone is being sarcastic or not and taking offense irregardless.

Also it's handy to know when to use 'you're' and 'your' correctly in a sentence. Although if you don't someone will let you know your error quite quickly

Yes i've seen some heated discussion on here - None more informative than the bum wiping post.

Recently got the bike, plan was to sell some of the outrageously expensive kit to recoup some expense, however i haven't the heart to take any of it off (apart from the mech and cassette). Am currently recovering from a broken collarbone so have yet to test it on any knarly stuff 🙁

Hi there

*waves*

You plan was to sell some of the outrageously expensive kit to recoup some expense? No, no, no. You're doing it all wrong. The trick is to constantly hanker after something even more hideously and inexplicably expensive. Until you reach a point where you regard the price of Chris King stuff as perfectly reasonable 😉

Welcome, nice bike, I'm an 'Anthem' guy myself. You may have noticed that a lot of the threads and posts on this forum are in code. You may pick it up in time. I haven't yet. Also the more enthusiastic you are the more sarcasm rains down on you. Starting a dumb or meaningless thread goes down well though. 😉

Hi Alex,

There's nothing wrong with hankering after expensive stuff, so when you decide to upgrade can I have dibs on your cranks? 😀

Without people constantly upgrading I wouldn't have half the stuff I don't need.

Hi Alex.
I'm in exactly the same boat as you.
Not used to such a fast moving forum myself, but always bound to stumble upon something that makes me chuckle.

O', and I've recently bought a Trance as well 😀

How are you finding the trance? 😀

I've not got round to setting the bike up properly yet, stem shall be dropped a space or two :p.
Had a go at setting up the forks, there's more knobs and dials than you can shake a stick at!
I'll order some carbon cranks later in that case Rideit..

Have only got the standard giant carbon one that came with the bike as per photo. Thinking of replacing it with a dropper post in time that's all 🙂

Hi.

How are you finding the trance?

Surely you've realised by now that no one on here actually rides their bikes anymore?

Spend much more time on here and you'll also be swapping the whole bike for something more road racery 🙂
