I did it in May and conditions were a little different 🙂
I take it the 2nd and 3rd bits of film were heading down through the woods towards the Bowder Stone? I went straight down to Rossthwaite. Woods looks better!

The track through Frith woods is great. Also (if you don't mind a cheeky detour) adding Walla Crag onto the start gives you third excellent descent down to Ashness Bridge (but only in the Winter or at night otherwise you're likely to get beaten by walkers)

Yep - did the Walla Crag to Ashness Bridge bit. 7am on a sunny sunday and no-one about 🙂
