[#211410]

Iíve had a Kona Blast for just short of 4 years now but the frame developed a nice crack about 1cm along the top tube from where it meets the seat tube. I assumed that I would be way outside any warranty period but I found a note that says something about a 4 year warranty.
Iíve made quite a few changes over the years (only original bits are frame, stem & shifters) and itís seem a bit of use, but nothing extreme.
Does anyone know if there is any point in me looking into this and where I would start?
Thanks
Wiksey

Talk to the shop you bought it from, who will speak to Paligap Uk. Or, take it to your local friendly Kona dealer with receipt.

Cheers chaps.
Looks like I'll be paying a visit to me LBS then - handy that bought local for once.

I had a 2002 Kona Kula frame which developed hair-line cracks at the joints. I had bought it from Evans, mail order but as i live in Bristol i arranged to go direct to Paligap (Avonmouth). They were really helpful and sorted me out with a new frame within a day or two. No quibbling and really nice guys. So, if you live anywhere near Bristol i would be tempted to contact paligap directly but even if you deal with your LBS i would be reassured of a good outcome.

best wishes

trickpsyclist - nice one. I'm not gonna get my hope up too much but at least a replacement is not unheard of.
