Hello all, I just bought a Chumba Evo frame with no thought at all.
Was this wise?
They look nice!
Ebay?
have a break, have a [s]kitkat[/s] chumba
you could 11sp Alfine that and it'd be fine
Meh - Luke, that's nothing my awesome welding skillz and a few bolts can't solve - eeeeeeeeep ๐
its probably the wrong size for you
Oh dear,
broken where the cable guide was snotted on,
not the first one seen either!
That XCL was from around 2005, since updated and only one of a very small few that actually snapped. I have not seen an XCL snap since that batch of frames.
Chumba warranty is also very good and swift.

I's guess its the spars that caused the stress riser rather than the cable guide - in any event it's still rideable!
This makes you the (proud?) owner of the goppingest fleet of bikes of all time, I think.
Has there been a photo of lance put on here yet? It'd send people reeling.
Ooooh, where can I put Lance, does he count as a rad hardtail?
They really are vile looking, but I can rock that - I'm thinking of getting the laquered aluminium bit powdercoated pink, cos it'll look awesome ๐
They are supposed to be very nice frames. I wish I could spend that kind of money "with no thought at all" ๐
Enjoy
I bought a VF2 frame earlier in the year and am loving it - Si at progressive is also a great bloke to deal with.
Fail isn't something you make, it's something are. ๐

That's what ebay and your first pay packet as a bouncer is for ๐ HOOORAY
I'm so excited, I love ugly bikes.
You need to get picks of your ghastly menagerie up!
