Hi Chaps,

Has anyone got a turner shock bolt and nylock nut spare?

I just discovered mine broke coming down from Glen Clova 🙁 proper gutted, as I thought the bush had gone so just bought some new ones. Poooooooop.

Cheers

Ricks

I have a 2006 Flux frame lying around, snapped. would the bolts off that be any use? I'm not mechanical so you may need to give me a bit more detail but could post to you on Thursday if it helped.

They're not anything specific to turner bikes. You can pick up a spare from a hardware store or eBay.

This.

I snapped one on my 5 Spot, & just used a generic M6 bolt & nyloc nut.

Snapped one on my 5 Spot, replaced both with the same in stainless, no issues.

Cool, I'll be off to B&Q tomorrow then. Or a decent hardware store....

Is a full threaded bolt OK to use, or should I be sanding the thread down that will be in contact with the top hats on the shock?

You shouldn't have too much trouble replacing like for like. Really not worth trying to file down threads.
