I really liked this event when I last did it some years back, the course was a real good mix of singletrack, steep decents, hard climbs etc, all with stunning scenery.

30 miles with only 2000 ft (er, 610 metres) of climbing? Are they actively trying to avoid climbs and descents in that terrain?

I was surprised at the amount of climbing, I am sure it was 4000ft plus back in the day.

Cant be right, i normally do 10 mileish rides in there and they're usually 600m+

Sounds a bit $h!t if you ask me, hardly worth travelling up there to pay for a flat ride

I'd hope they actually mean 2000 metres climbing.

Good point, that would make it quite hard though 6,500 ft 😯
