Looks pretty good to me, especially with the new mtb features. So who wants to buy my Edge 520 that I bought last month!

I thought more people on this forum would be interested in a MTB specific Garmin......?

Perhaps a cryptic thread title was not the best idea? I bet "New Garmin Edges look good for MTB use" would have scored more replies.

I'm interested in it but that's because I'm a roadie-mamil that goes up hills.

Interested but only if the price is right so will probably wait a year. Also give garmin a chance to fix any software bugs.

Having just bought a 520 plus I was trying to ignore this thread.
I bought mine for Mamil use though. Mtb is more about smiles than miles!

Made up metrics (Grit and Flow) are pretty meaningless. I think there comes a point when if you're Garmin and your measuring "stuff" just to try to make it "MTB specific"ย  it smacks of more to do with Market Segment quarterly shareholder reporting than real world requirement TBH.

What next, one that reassures you that size really isn't that important?
