Just thought I'd 'big up' cycleworks in Burpham (Guildford) and ATB Sales. My Marin frame developed a crack, and they've got me a brand new one within two weeks - no fuss or bother at all, and they've built the bike back up again.
Top marks.

They seem pretty nice in the shop. Been in a couple of times myself, bought some new gloves and a helmet before that. Took the helmet back and and swapped it for a different one.

Two weeks!! get yourself a better LBS, I've never had to wait for more than a week for replacements, ATB sales have always been excellent.
