Dumb questions ahoy!

Thinking of weight saving on my charge plug. Currently has a pair of kaffenback forks on which weight approximately 400lbs.

Straight steerer forks are not that easy to find it seems. I would like carbon and need to be disc brake tabs.

Axle crown should be 390-400mm? If so this is the same as 26" wheeled bikes and there are a few of the listes on ebay.

Any issues with buying a pair of them? Am I right not to worry about rake etc?

Van Nicholas also do what you're after. Try fatbirds.

I have minty fresh pair of uncut Kinesis Dc37s that need a new home...

I had them on my Equilibrium Disc, before I moved all the parts to a Tripster.

Drop me a line (mail in profile) if you may be interested... : )

Rick, Ealing.

as posted on the 'Plug' thread;

1 1/8" straight, carbon with alu steerer, 397mm a-c, disc brake mounts.
I searched long and hard for lighter forks for my Norco search and these are the ones that are at top of my list. Whisky also do a carbon fork in 1 1/8 but its £300+
