I've previously removed paint on a cannondale stem with nail varnish remover.

Just wondering if anybody has experience of removing the graphic detail on the below bars. It seems to be more integrated to the carbon like a frame decal so hesitant to try but they are bit loud for me and much prefer a stealth look on parts.

Is there something special about those particular bars ?  for £250 I'd be looking for something that suited me right out of the box

The graphics are under the clear lacquer, you will ruin the bars; the aluminium stem most likely only had some paint spots directly on the anodized aluminium, that's why it was so easy.

I've gone for black electrical tape on shouty carbon bars before.

Cheers guys.

I picked them up with a nice discount and used on another bike where the colour wasn't such an issue.
