They turned out no bad like! I'll get mine online later. Corrie hill wasn't really worth it - it was either mega greasy mud or slidey-frozen. Nevermind!
Look lovely guys. Gutted I couldnt make it ๐
I was up today with my four legged riding buddy and would have to agree It was as nice a day as I've had up the Pentlands. i did look out for you guys but only saw one other biker (A miserable guy on a whyte full susser who ignored me twice).

My riding bud 'Charlie' coped admirably.
Charlie exploring a burn at Loganlea.

I was pretty impressed with my dog for doing the Flotterstone reservoir loop without being to knackered.
Looks amazing!
Hi stanfree, we went up to Harlaw, Maiden's gate then left and up over to Phantom's, left again and round to the Dreghorn track, then headed aross to a small summit that TJ knows the name of before dropping down to Dreghorn and exploring stuff round the woods at Colinton.
We didn't see any other bikers in the Pentlands, but a few walkers. Shame the one guy you saw was a miserable bugger - how can you be like that on a day like today!
Looks fantastic. Especially like the middle pic TJ. I did consider riding up there today, but the wee one boaking her toast back onto the breakfast plate this morning put paid to any riding fun.
Hi Kit sounds like a good wee route you did , I was tempted at Loganlea to hike up the hill and head for the Red road which frozen would have been excellent. I decided against It with the Dog in tow. After months of not much cycling the Pentlands seems brilliant especially on a day like today .
To be fair the guy might just have been a bit breathless as I saw him at the top of Beech Hill / Bavelaw then pushing up from Glencorse . I'll give him the benefit of the doubt . Glad you and TJ had a good day .
I met a slightly miserable skier on a similar day (but with added snow) last year. When I said hello and remarked on what an amazing day it was, he said, "Yeah but it's going to be better tomorrow." Needless to say it wasn't.
I'm not grumpy and its a cream Whyte.
nah just kidding I have been stuck in the office all day, looks lovely, very jealous.. Might head out tonight for megaicedeathslidefest.
*is not jealous*
jimbo, get my texty-wexty?
Some initiative well taken boys - feels like months since I've had an (*ahem*) hard frosty one up the Pentlands... as the actress said to the whatsit...

cracking
That's what I think it looked like tonight.
stanfree - Mrs Druidh saw you out with the dug (and said hello).
Ah was Mrs Duidh with her friend walking up towards the gate on maidens ?. I spoke to two ladies there and one at the top looking down towards Glencorse.
Aye - she was walking over to Flotterstone for lunch.
Was a lovely day for It Colin , was tempted to nip In there for a pint myself but had to go to work . ๐ฅ
