i have seen this advertised with a double mount casing for the camera. has anyone seen any footage on how it would work??
how it works is pretty easy - 2 sensors a couple of inches apart generate a stereoscopic image - exactly the same as the way in which your eyes work. How that image is stored\processed\viewed is a little less obvious - i'm sure there's some standards for it though
It comes with editing software which will allow you to render the video in either:
Anaglyph (Red/Cyan glasses - viewable on any TV/computer monitor)
Passive (viewable on polarized 3DTV sets with cinema style glasses)
Active Shutter (viewable on those 3DTVs with go go gadget viewing glasses)
So unless you have a 3DTV you're stuck watching your amazing film in a red/blue tinge.
wow! it'll be like actually riding a bike... or you could actually go ride a bike in real 3D!
