[Closed] Go on then, show me your On-One 456's

I am going to buy an On-One 456 in a few weeks, I can't decide on the colour though. They only have "Salt And Vinegar Blue" and "Beefy Brown" In-Stock.

So anyone with these coloured frames could help me greatly by posting up a pic although just 456's in general would be nice too!

Thanks in advance.

I quite like that. I would get the standard 456 in bright green, but they don't have them ๐Ÿ™

Your grips could do with being slightly more pink though, superstar pink grips maybe?

Looking for frame only, sorry.
Can't decide between the SS or standard version. It will be my only bike. So all-day, xc, am,few small tabletop jumps etc.
Built around Manitou Black 120mm super airs, may upgrade to some RS/X-Fusion/Fox 120mm forks later though.

It must climb quite well too, any help on my best choice would be appreciated too.

With 120mm forks you might as well go for the SS

Just checked the geo on my frame at the moment, turns out the geo of the standard 456 is almost exactly the same bar effective top tube which could be my inaccurate measurement, it is only 5mm shorter than a 456.
They have almost the same tubing too yet mine is supposedly 500 grams lighter.

So unless I get the SS then the purchase would be pointless.

I've nearly finished building this up. Just need to trim the chain down and the brake hoses. I wasn't too keen on salt & vinegar blue from the pictures on the website, but needed a cheap steel frame and was pleasantly surprised seeing it in the flesh.

get a standard version if it's your only bike, the you can run it on 1x9 and ss it only a 15 min job to change between the two

SS is Summer Season/Super Slack, not singlespeed, there's 2deg knocked off the head angle to make it slacker with shorter forks.

The standard one's pretty well ballanced with 5" forks so I'd not bother and just get a standard one.

Ooooh another yellow-stickered one 8)

I reckon 120mm is definitely the sweet spot for the Summer Season - been out on mine this morning and didn't touch the u-turn dial. Nice to have the option though of knowing it can cope with up to 160mm for the very steep stuff, for that extra bit of confidence/skill compensation.
