Due to injury (broken bones!) our van owner/driver is out of the picture for our trip to Wales on on the 24th! I have a Thule carrier for my Leon but its the two bike one- it would be great to get another bike on the back. Does anywhere rent these out?
Plan B is to buy roof rails as I can borrow some carriers for up top. Sadly the other car currently going is a Corsa (new style with integrated rack) so six people and six bikes is currently looking tight!

Wheels off and bungee frame to other bike with loads of padding.
Or hire a crew van.

Depending on how good a mate he is would your pal with the van lend it to you and then sort out 24/48 insurance cover and bung him some cash for wear and tear?
Did consider lending my van but then that leaves me with no transport as the wife uses car at weekend,and have kids to ferry around
