Hallo

Hoping to go tomorrow, had a search and it's supposed to be good in the wet, but is there any flooding in the area that might cause a problem? I bet the stream crossing after hully gully will be interesting too ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Living locally to gisburn forest i go quite often after work there and often just do a quick lap of the lower part of the red trail leaving from Cocklet Hill car park. Ive been to gisburn forest mountain bike trails in all conditions and went just last week when it absolutely threw it down with rain, yet the trails there at Gisburn Forest seem to drain water away quite quickly. It can get boggy but hey - if you ask me, its more fun with a little bit of mud. On the upper part of the red trail, just after Hully Gully there are about 2 narrow streams to go through and these can have quite a fast current if it rains, but they are only about half a bike length wide so you can easily pop the front wheel up going through them to get through safely.
