really interested in the 11 speed alfine and toying with getting kit together to build a bike when it's launched. as you probably know there's loads of threads on here about them (8 speeds, not 11) but the opinions are all so contradictory.
the only solution is to ride one, i'm not concerned with the ratios but i want to feel how they change gear and the weight. so i'm on the scrounge, speeds in bromsgrove offered me a ride round the car park, in the dry on their genesis, i really appreciate the offer but i want to do more than that. question is, would any of you (idealy 19"-20") alfine riders in worcestershire/west midlands be prepared to give us a blast?
