Cheaper yes, quicker and more convenient no, eg multiple trains, not sure about bus. Look at Bourg St Maurice and also double check exactly where you are staying.

256 Euro one way with Coolbus. Which struck me as a bit steep - can book them for a full days guided biking for that, and still have cash left over.
It's a good two hours from Les Arcs to Geneva - so probably a five hour round trip for someone like Coolbus. I'd probably want 250 euros for that as well 😆
Cheaper? Sure. But it does involve you getting off the plane with your own vehicle, several days and a lot of effort.
