I recently bought a S/H Genesis latitude Ti frameset (17.5/26). It appears to have headset cups installed, but nothing else. I believe it has a 44mm head tube and requires an external bottom cup, other than that I know nothing.
I have some forks with a 1 1/8 steerer and I am flummoxed as to what headset components I need to buy to make them work together. Genesis won't answer my e mails and my brain is beginning to hurt.
Any other owners of this frameset able to confirm what they've used?

You need a ZS44/28.6 upper and a EC44/30 lower. This is the only one I can find with a quick google though -

The other option is to buy an EC44/40 lower and use a a crown race like this -
You're a star. That now makes perfect sense. I'll go Hope Pick n' mix ZS44/28.6 upper and EC44/40 lower with the Hope adapter so I can upgrade to tapered 120mm forks later.
