[Closed] Genesis Day 01 standover dimensions

Does anyone own a genesis day 01, 52 cm or 54 cm and could measure the standover dimensions for me please? Or does anyone know where to obtain this info even if they don't own one? I can find details of the geometry from several sources, but none seem to quote the standover. I've tried emailing Genesis, but they haven't replied, and I can't see a phone number on their website.

I know that my best option would be a test ride but my LBS doesn't have any to try out, so an internet purchase is more likely to be the order of the day. I'm 5ft 7 inch(170 cm) with a 32 inch (81 cm)inside leg. I know sizing has already been discussed for this particular bike but there doesn't seem to be a general consensus, so I was kind of thinking that as long as the standover was 'safe', the reach could be adjusted via stem and/or seatpost.

Any input would be gratefully appreciated.

My 54cm Day 01 Disc from floor to 'standover' is 31"

I am same height as you and leg uncannily. 99% sure the 52 would be too neat for you. Toe overlap would be an issue.

thebikechain - So you have absolutely no 'close shaves' with the top tube when stood over it? Are you an exact 32 inch leg, or slightly one way or the other? And what type of riding do you do on it?

I've had mixed results when it comes to recommendations. I think I'm probably border line between two sizes, but seeing as you feel right on a 54cm and happen to be my long lost twin, I'm edging towards the 54.
