say i do a track, nothing planned just a route i chose to ride today randomly....i have started/stopped the ride from start to finish, so i now have that route somewhere on the edge800...
how do i then upload it from the unit to say bikehike or the likes? when i thought id sussed it, it wouldnt let me do it, as its saving the files as .FIT files not .tcx or .gpx as im used too?
please help, getting frustrated now 🙁

Will it work with Garmin Connect? That's s good site, and it'll export uploaded routes to GPX
yeah thats the ticket squire! just tried it and it works a treat, you can then send it to your device as a .tcx file or even save it to folders so you can view it on other routing sites! excellent!
GTC used to give the option for exporting as .gpx files.
garmin connect works brill, you connect device, it finds your latest track and uploads it, shows on a map and then allows you to save it as a track or .gpx! superb!
